Jay Jay Thunder is the most recent addition to The Jackalopes. Jay Jay is Rev. Wells' youngest brother. Although he is the youngest member of the band, Jay Jay is a seasoned veteran in the world of Rock N' Roll. As "Fred Shred" Jay Jay was a founding member, along with Rev. Wells and their other brother Gerede Stephens (now vocalist for The Bang Tale), of the avante-noise experiment Roadkill Youth. At 12 years of age, armed with the brand new stage name of "J9", he joined the doomed Goth Punk outfit Queen Wasp (also with brother Gerede). Then, with another name change for himself as well as for the band, he bacame Jay Jay Thunder (a nickname since childhood based on his real name and his love of KISS) and the band morphed into a more Glam oriented Horror project Nightbreed before settling into the Motorhead meets the New York Dolls Rock N' Roll band Sedation Generation.
